The Black Gold sweet cherry tree is a highly reliable, self-fertile, and cold-hardy variety, noted for its late-spring bloom, which helps it avoid frost damage. Developed by Cornell University in 2001, this tree produces large, firm, dark red-to-black, sweet, and crack-resistant fruit, ripening mid-season. We have Black Gold available as a semi-dwarf tree, grafted on Gisela12 and 6 rootstock.
